of the last buoy. 

Could this winter view 

possibly be more different 

from our memories of summer?  

What a strange year for ice too, 

not exactly safe, never the same 

from day to day. 

It's all very magical, though, 

and gives us pause and appreciation 

for our lazy days of summer!
